REM Wisconsin Welcomes Visions of N.E.W., Expanding Residential and Community-Based Services
8 May 2015
REM Wisconsin, a partner of The MENTOR Network, is pleased to welcome staff and individuals served from Visions of N.E.W., a provider of residential and community-based services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other complex challenges, including traumatic brain injury, aging-related challenges and physical disabilities.
“Visions of N.E.W. is an ideal addition to REM Wisconsin because of their excellent reputation and our shared mission of helping the individuals we serve live life to the fullest in the communities they call home,” said Shelly Hansen-Blake, Executive Director of REM Wisconsin.
Based in Lena, Wisconsin, Visions of N.E.W. has since 2002 provided high-quality residential and community-based services tailored to each individual’s unique needs, from Hourly Supports to more intensive Supportive Home Care, providing 24-hour support in the home and community. Depending on each individual’s needs, supports may include help with daily living tasks, medication management, participation in community activities, job coaching, transportation and respite services.
Operating as REM Wisconsin, Visions of N.E.W. will continue providing the same personalized, high-quality services for which they have been known for more than a decade.
“We are excited to welcome Visions of N.E.W., allowing us to serve more individuals through our innovative programs across the state,” Hansen-Blake said.
