About Us
REM Wisconsin is dedicated to providing high-quality support services for people with developmental disabilities and other complex needs as well as their families. With more than 20 years of experience, REM Wisconsin has a proven track record of delivering effective programs that are tailored to the unique needs of each individual we serve. Because of our person-centered approach, multi-disciplinary staff, and flexible programming, we can serve individuals with a range of needs, including:
- Behavioral support needs
- Dual diagnoses
- Hearing/vision limitations
- Fragile health needs
- Specific syndromes including Lesch-Nyhan, Prader-Willi, Tuberous Sclerosis, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), and Autism Spectrum Disorders such as Asperger’s and Rhett’s Syndrome
- Traumatic or Acquired Brain Injury (TBI or ABI)
Each individual receives a service plan which is designed and delivered using a support team approach that leverages the unique skills and talents of our professional staff, including a full-time Director of Nursing who oversees and develops our health care intake, evaluation, and support services to assure optimal wellness.
In every aspect of our operations, we are deeply committed to quality. Our statewide Quality Improvement team establishes clear goals, benchmarks, and outcomes for every service we offer and every employee who works for us. In addition, REM Wisconsin’s Quality Improvement Manager ensures we meet or exceed our quality of care standards as well as find new and better ways to safely and compassionately serve the people who depend on us.
